佐賀のいちご、とてもジューシーな「いちごさん」（Saga's strawberry, very juicy "Ichigo-san")

先日スーパーで大振りの綺麗ないちごを見つけました。

佐賀県のイチゴです。「さがほのか」から20年ぶりの2018年秋に誕生したイチゴです。ジューシーさがウリです。

スーパーで1パック398円で売っていたので買ってみました。名前も可愛いし、ロゴも女の子のシルエットで可愛いです。

2月28日までレシピコンテストをやっています。

いちごの断面

見た目は大振りでつやつやしてとても綺麗。お味はとても甘い！というほどではないですが、とにかく一口目に果汁があふれてくるようなジューシーさがあります。

私もレシピを作ってみようかな？

いちごがのったパンケーキ

クリームチーズとサワークリームを混ぜたものをパンケーキに塗り、その上にスライスしたイチゴをのせ、上から黒蜜をかけてみました。

いちごはそれほど甘くないので、ちょっとクリームチーズや黒蜜の塩味がきついようでした。クリームチーズの量を減らして、黒蜜を普通のパンケーキシロップに変えたらもう少し美味しくなるかもしれません。

2018年秋に誕生した「いちごさん」を食べてみました。甘さはそれほどではないですが、とてもジューシーです。

名前の付いた色々なイチゴが出回るのは日本だけではないかと思います。また他のイチゴも紹介したいと思います。

「新型コロナウィルスAIワクチン接種予測」アプリでいつ頃ワクチンを接種するのか調べてみました

今日は2月15日に発表された、日本国内での「新型コロナウィルスAIワクチン接種予測」アプリについて紹介します。

今朝ボゥーっとテレビを見ていたらこのアプリについてやっていました。

皆さんも、日本国内では今週から医療従事者から順番にワクチン接種が始まり、次に高齢者で。。。と何となくの順番はお分かりだと思いますが、果たして自分の順番はいつまわってくるのかと気になりませんか？

ワクチンの事や副反応について調べておきたいし、心の準備も予定も必要だし！なんて。

アプリについて

「新型コロナウィルスAIワクチン接種予測」アプリと言っても、この名前のアプリがあるわけではありません。

まずはこの「NewsDigest」からApple用かGoogle用のアプリをスマホにインストールして下さい。

それから、新型コロナのところなどで、水色で囲われた「新型コロナワクチン接種予測　随時更新中」を開けていきます。

ここに、生年月日、住んでいる地域、職業、基礎疾患を入力するとあなたのワクチン接種予定日が分かります。

ワクチン接種には地域差もかなりあるようで、人口の少ないところは今年中に間に合うのか？とも言っていました。

それにしても、AIを使って予測するなんて、凄い世の中になってきましたね。

予測した結果

私は就活中ですが、とりあえず未来予想をして、職業のところで「薬剤師・薬局従業員」を選びました。

すると、何と、結果は約1週間から1か月以内となりました。ちょっと心の準備がまだなかったので驚きました。

まとめ

新型コロナワクチン接種予測をAIで予測してくれるアプリが発表されました。まずは「NewsDigest」アプリをダウンロードしてみましょう！

分析結果は随時アップデートするので、定期的にチェックすることが必要になります。

上野東照宮に参拝し、冬ぼたんの鑑賞をしてきました（I visited Ueno Toshogu Shrine and watched winter peony.)

今日は上野東照宮と冬ぼたん鑑賞を紹介します。

Today, I would like to introduce Ueno Toshogu Shrine and winter peony appreciation.

上野東照宮とは（What is Ueno Toshogu?）

1627年に津藩主藤堂高虎と天台宗僧侶天海僧正によって徳川家康をお祀りする神社として建てられ、1646年に東照宮になりました。

藤堂高虎は築城の技術に長けていて、津城、伊賀上野城、膳所城、二条城なんかを築城しています。徳川家康から出世、勝利、健康長寿、また、この東照宮は戦争や震災にも耐えていることがあり、強運もあるとされています。やはり日光東照宮ほどではないものの、金箔で覆われた部分は多く、極楽彩色を使っていてきらびやかな建物です。社殿は文化財保護の為、中に入ることはできません。

栄誉権現社

私は見落としそうになりましたが、拝観してすぐに「栄誉権現社」という社があります。お狸様を祀っていて、江戸時代に大奥など安置される各所に災いをもたらしたのが、大正時代に東照宮に寄贈されてから災いが無くなり、「他を抜く狸」という縁起から強運開祖、受験・就職・必勝の神様になっています。写真はありませんが、社の中には狸が鎮座しています。

ご朱印

ご朱印には2種類あり、普通のご朱印には2月23日まで牡丹のスタンプがついています。また、御守も2月23日までは牡丹守りとか、17日は家康の月命日なため昇龍守りとか魅力的なモノがたくさんあります。この昇龍は拝観しなくても見ることができる唐門の左右についている龍のうち、頭が下を向いている方です。偉大な人ほど頭を垂れるからだそうで、そうありたいですね。

冬ぼたんとは（What is winter peony?）

寒ぼたんは昔お正月の縁起物の花でしたが、今は葉ボタンにとって代わっています。というのも、寒ぼたんは着花率が低いためです。それに手を加えたものが冬ぼたんになります。

今年の冬ぼたんは2月23日まで見ることができます。ぼたんは色とりどり、形も色々あります。お琴の音楽が流れ、藁で作られた霜囲いされたぼたんに俳句がつけられていて、とても風情があります。

他には蝋梅やフクジュソウなど早春の花を見ることもできます。また今は河津桜やしだれ梅が満開で、こちらもとても素敵です。

Cold peony used to be a lucky flower for the New Year, but now it has replaced the leaf button. This is because cold peony has a low flowering rate. A modified version of it is the winter peony.

This winter peony can be seen until February 23rd. They have various of colors and shapes. The music of the koto is played, and the haiku is attached to the frost-enclosed peony made of straw, which is very tasteful. You can also see early spring flowers such as Japanese allspice and Amur adonis. Kawazu cherry blossoms and weeping plums are in full bloom now, which is also very nice.

しだれ梅と五重塔

上野東照宮自体は初めて拝観しました。中に入ると益々煌びやかな建物や塀を見ることができます。また、狸様にもお詣りしたので、強運がついてきたら良いなと思います。

ぼたん苑の方ではとても日本的な環境で、綺麗なぼたんや満開の河津桜などを楽しむことができました。

どちらも見てきて、とても満足した1日でした。

I saw Ueno Toshogu itself for the first time. Once inside, you can see more and more gorgeous buildings and walls. I also visited to the raccoon dog, so I hope that he will have good luck.

At Botanen, we were able to enjoy beautiful peony and Kawazu cherry blossoms in full bloom in a very Japanese environment.

今日はスターバックスの「さくらふわりベリーフラペチーノ」とAR体験を紹介します。

毎年桜の季節になるとこのフラペチーノの存在を思い出すのですが、それではちょっと手遅れです。今回も2月15日から販売で、桜の季節にはもうほとんど終わっているからです。ずっとニューヨークにいたので、3年ぶりに味わいました！

桜色のグッズ

毎年この時期に出てくる、桜をイメージしたドリンクやスウィーツです。

今年は2月15日から販売、3月16日に終了します。今年はもしかしたら、お花見にぎりぎり間に合うかもしれませんね。私がいつもこの存在に気が付くのが3月に入ってからです。

ドリンクはすごい人気で、各店舗で個数が決まっているようで、午前中の早い時間に売り切れなんてこともあります。

今年は冷たい「さくらふわりベリーフラペチーノ」と温かい「さくらふわりベリーミルクラテ」の2種類があります。私はフラペチーノの方だけ試しました。

トールサイズのみで590円+消費税です。

他には桜色のスウィーツやグッズがたくさん並んでいました。

日本のスタバは本当に季節感があり、その時期ごとに華やかになるのが良いですね。ニューヨークだと今サイトを眺めても、通常の茶色っぽい商品ばかりです。

さくらふわりベリーフラペチーノのお味

ピンク色のさくらストロベリー味のフラペチーノ（シェークのようなモノ）の底には甘酸っぱいラズベリーパンナコッタが敷かれ、上にはストロベリーの粉をちらした生クリームがのっています。このパンナコッタはほんのり桜の味もして、プルプルしている食感もよくて美味しかったです。

何よりもピンク色がふわっとした春の訪れを感じさせるのが良いですね。

QRコードでお花見体験

昨年から登場したようですが、今お店で何かを買うとQRコードがついてきます。それをスマホで読み取って画面を見ると、「見上げるさくらARを見る」と「さくらベアリスタARを見る」というモノがあります。

ARとは拡張現実のことで、人が知覚する現実をコンピューターなどで拡張するとのことで、現実の世界にCGが入り込んだような感じになります。そういえば、ピカチュウのアプリで見たことがありました！

「見上げるさくらARを見る」では

右上にハートを発見しました！

床から1本の桜の木が生えて、お花見をしながら桜の花びらが舞う様を愛でることができます。

「さくらベアリスタARを見る」では

踊るベアリスタ発見！

床や机の上などで、スタバのクマが踊ります！とてもキュートです。

どちらもとても楽しいです。お店で買い物をするだけでなく、オンラインで買い物すると別のARキャラクターも見ることができるようです。

レシートへのQRコード印刷は3月15日までで、さくらAR体験も3月31日までなので、急いでくださいね！

今日はバレンタインデーですね。日本のKrispy Kreme Doughnuts（クリスピー・クリーム・ドーナツ）を紹介したいと思います。

ここ数年、よくSNSにドーナツでバレンタインデー投稿をしてきました。

今回は日本でクリーム・ドーナツのバレンタインバージョンを買ってみたのでお知らせします。

バレンタインデーとは

元々は欧米で恋人に花やチョコレート、カードなどを送る日です。

フランスに留学していた時はフランス人の女性の家庭にホームステイしていましたが、この日にはボーイフレンドがやってきて、赤いバラ一輪とケーキを持ってきて、彼女とロマンティックな夜を過ごしていました。

また、ニューヨークではたくさんの花屋さんがバラを売っていて、多くの男性が買っていくのを見ました。

イギリスではレストランやホテルでバレンタインの特別な食事が用意されていて、恋人同士や夫婦で食べに行くとのことです。カードはとても重要だと教えてくれました。

どちらかというと、男性が好きな女性にプレゼントする日なのではないでしょうか。

そして日本では、男性が女性にプレゼントをする習慣がないため、チョコレートメーカーの企てで、女性が男性にチョコレートを渡す日だと売り込んだようです。

私は本当の習慣を知ってから、義理チョコを配るのが嫌になりました。ただし、誰かにお礼をしたい時に、バレンタインデーに近ければチョコレートを渡すことはあります。

ホワイトデーがあるのは、日本や韓国ぐらいです。

クリスピー・クリーム・ドーナツのバレンタイン商品とお味

3種類のチョコレートのドーナツを買いました。昨年などはアメリカで買っていましたが、日本のドーナツはシックですね。

今年のアメリカのモノをサイトで確認すると、やはり赤やピンクでポップです。

では、1つづつ味の紹介をします。いずれも1つ250円＋消費税です。

1．フォンダンショコラハート（Fondant Chocolat Heart）

今日までの販売です。

少しレンジで温めると中からチョコクリームが飛び出してきます。端まで入ってなくてチョコクリームが出てこなかったので、切りなおしました。甘さ抑え目のお味で美味しかったです。

2.　ストロベリーグロッシーチョコ（Strawberry Glossy Choco）

今日まではハート形で、2月28日まではリング形で販売されます。

甘さ控えめで、チョコのほろ苦さも感じます。上のテカテカしている部分はストロベリーソースのようなモノで、酸味も加わり美味しかったです。金粉ものっていて、見た目は一番ゴージャスです。

3.　メルティクランチチョコ（Melty Crunch Choco）

メルティ―クランチチョコ

今日まではハート形で、2月28日まではリング形で販売されます。

上のチョコクランチはザクザクしていて食べごたえがありました。甘さはこれが一番甘く感じましたが、一番美味しいと思いました。

最近はSNSにドーナツでバレンタイン投稿をしています。

日本のクリスピー・クリーム・ドーナツのバレンタインバージョンは3種類あり、とてもシックです。アメリカのものは今年も赤やピンクでポップです。

バレンタインデーは欧米ではどちらかと言うと、男性が好きな女性にプレゼントをすることが多い日です。

今は家にこもりがちな生活ですが、バレンタインデーのイベントで密を避けつつも気分転換出来たら良いですね。

母には悪いかもしれませんが、私にはあまりおふくろの味の記憶がありません。その代り、多分バレンタインの時に作ってくれていたチョコレートケーキがあります。

唯一真似をできる味！

今日はチョコレートケーキのレシピを紹介します。

It may be bad for my mother, but I don't remember much about the taste of my mother. Instead, there's probably a chocolate cake that was made for Valentine's Day. The only taste that can be imitated!

チョコレートケーキのレシピ（Chocolate cake recipe）

バターの代わりに植物油を使い、卵も使わないのでヘルシーだと思います。

I think it's healthy because it uses vegetable oil instead of butter and doesn't use eggs.

材料（天板2枚分）（Ingredients (for 2 top plates)）

小麦粉　3カップ

砂糖　2カップ

ココアパウダー　大さじ6杯+大さじ1.5杯

重曹　小さじ2杯

塩　小さじ2杯

バニラエッセンス　小さじ2杯

酢　大さじ2杯

サラダ油　大さじ12杯（180ml）

粉砂糖　3/4カップ

バター　大さじ1.5杯

インスタントコーヒー　小さじ1杯

あればピーカンナッツやクルミ

＊1カップ＝200ml

3 cups of flour

2 cups of sugar

6 tablespoons of cocoa powder + 1.5 tablespoons

2 teaspoons of baking soda

2 teaspoons of salt

2 teaspoons of vanilla extract

2 tablespoons of vinegar

12 tablespoons of salad oil (180 ml)

Powdered sugar 3/4 cup

1.5 tablespoons butter

1 teaspoon of instant coffee

Pecan nuts and walnuts, if any

* 1 cup = 200 ml

作り方（How to make）

①ボールに小麦粉、砂糖、ココアパウダー（大さじ6）、重曹、塩を入れ混ぜる。

3つの穴を開け、バニラエッセンス、酢、サラダ油を入れ、水2カップを上からかけてフォークでよく混ぜる。ピーカンナッツやクルミがあればここで上にのせる。

焼く前

②①を200℃のオーブンで30分焼く。

焼いた後

③ココアパウダー（大さじ1.5）、粉砂糖、柔らかくしたバターを混ぜ、熱いコーヒー（インスタントコーヒーに湯を大さじ1.5杯入れたもの）を入れて練る。

④②が焼けたら、③をかけ塗る。

出来上がり

① Put flour, sugar, cocoa powder (6 tablespoons), baking soda and salt in a bowl and mix.

Make 3 holes, add vanilla extract, vinegar and vegetable oil, pour 2 cups of water over and mix well with a fork.

② Pour ① into the two top plates. If you have pecan nuts or walnuts, put them on top here. Bake in an oven at 200 ° C for 30 minutes.

③ Mix cocoa powder (1.5 tablespoons), powdered sugar and softened butter, add hot coffee (1.5 tablespoons of hot water to instant coffee) and knead.

④ When ② is burnt, apply ③ on top.

ワンポイント：　

・砂糖がカチカチになっていたら、容器に入れた砂糖の上から濡れたキッチンタオルをかぶせ、その上にふたやラップをしてしばらく置いておくと柔らかくなります。

・このケーキは薄い方が美味しいと思います。

Tips:

・ If the sugar is ticking, cover the sugar in the container with a wet kitchen towel, cover it with a lid or wrap, and leave it for a while to soften it.

・ I think the thinner the cake, the better.

お味（Taste）

バターの代わりに食用油を使っているので軽い感じです。それに、重曹と酢などの化学反応を利用していて、何だか独特の香りがあるのですが、これがとても懐かしいのです。

私の好きなところはこの軽さと独特な香り、そして甘い上にかけたソースです。

今回は冷凍庫にあったピーカンナッツを使ってみましたが、これがとても合いました。クルミなんかを入れても美味しいと思います。

It feels light because it uses cooking oil instead of butter. Besides, it uses a chemical reaction such as baking soda and vinegar, and it has a unique scent, which I miss very much.

What I like is this lightness, unique aroma, and sweet sauce.

This time I tried using the pecan nuts that were in the freezer, and this fits very well. I think it's delicious even if you add walnuts.

まとめ（Summary）

私のおふくろの味はチョコレートケーキです。

ほとんどバターを使わないのと、卵は使わないのでヘルシーなケーキです。

失敗することはないと思うので、気軽に作ってみてはいかがですか。

今日は港区の散歩と称して、芝丸山古墳、芝東照宮、銀世界の梅公園を紹介します。

かつては職場と自宅の行き来だけで、休みには電車で銀座や新宿によく行っていました。最近はコロナ禍で歩ける範囲で周りを見渡すようになり、興味深い場所がたくさんあることに気が付きました。

初詣に芝大神宮や増上寺などに行く際、偶然、東京タワーの近くに前方後円墳があることに気が付きました。

私は子供時代の大半を奈良県で過ごしているので古墳なんてゴロゴロあるのですが、こんな都会にも古墳があるなんて面白いなと思いました。今回は東京タワー近くの以下の場所に行きました。

芝丸山古墳→芝東照宮→銀世界の梅公園

電車では都営三田線の芝公園駅から歩いてすぐです。

I spend most of my childhood in Nara prefecture, so there are many tumuli, but I found it interesting that there are tumuli in such a city. This time I went to the following places near Tokyo Tower.

標高約16mの前方後円墳で、都内最大級の大きさです。5世紀ごろ作られた、有力者の墓と言われています。芝公園内にありますが、埋葬施設がある後円部は崩されているそうで、立札などを見なければ、ただの丘にしか見えないです。私が知っている奈良の古墳の様に、上から見ると鍵穴型の緑がこんもりと生い茂っていて、周りを水が取り囲んでいる様子とはえらい違いです。上まで歩いて上れるようになっていて、途中に円山随身稲荷大明神や灯籠があります。さらに階段を上ると日本地図を書いた伊能忠敬測地遺功表が出てきます。この割と近くの場所から測量を開始したそうです。そして、反対の端の方に歩いていくと虎の像があります。

160mというとそれなりの高さがあるので、周りの眺めも良く、東京タワーも近くに見えます。

近くには貝塚もあるはずですが、どれなのかよくわかりませんでした。

It is a keyhole-shaped tumulus with an altitude of about 16 m and is one of the largest in Tokyo. It is said to be the tomb of a powerful man built around the 5th century. It's in Shiba Park, but it seems that the rear circle where the burial facility is located has collapsed, and if you don't look at the bills, you can only see it as a hill. The old burial mound in Nara that I know is a keyhole-shaped burial mound with a lot of greenery, and it looks like water surrounds it. It's completely different. You can walk up to the top, and there are Maruyama Zuijin Inari Daimyojin and lanterns on the way. If you go up the stairs, you will see the Ino Tadataka Survey Site Achievement Table with a map of Japan. It seems that the survey was started from a relatively close place. Then walk towards the other end and you will see a tiger statue.

Since 160m has a certain height, the view around it is good and you can see Tokyo Tower nearby.

There should be a shell mound nearby, but I wasn't sure which one it was.

芝東照宮とは（What is Shiba Toshogu?）

 

徳川家康の御神像を祀っている神社です。元々はほぼ隣にある増上寺の中に安国殿としてあったのが、神仏分離のため、東照宮として分かれたそうです。

場所はこの前方後円墳や銀世界の梅公園と芝公園の間にありますが、間口が狭いため見落としそうになります。

社殿は日光東照宮とまではいきませんが、少し面影がある、極採色が使われた小ぶりだけどキリっとした建物です。敷地内には徳川家光が植えたと言われている天然記念物の大イチョウがあります。

It is a shrine that enshrines the statue of Ieyasu Tokugawa. Originally, it was located in Zojoji Temple, which is almost next door, as Ankokuden, but it was divided into Toshogu Shrine due to the separation of Shinto and Buddhism.

The location is between this keyhole-shaped tumulus and the silver world Plum Park and Shiba Park, but the narrow frontage doesn't make it easy to overlook.

The shrine is not as big as Nikko Toshogu, but it is a small but crisp building with a little remnants and extreme colors. There is a large ginkgo tree, a natural monument, that is said to have been planted by Iemitsu Tokugawa on the premises.

「徳川武将みくじ」というモノがあったので引いてみました。金色の紙に印刷されていて、私は大久保治右衛門忠佐で吉でした。大久保忠員の二男で、武勇に優れ生涯無傷の勇将だったそうです。「勝負運は一撃で勝つ」と書いてあります。これからの人生、勝っていきたいです！そして、この人の家紋のシールもついていました。なかなか面白いおみくじです。

銀世界の梅公園とは（What is Silver World Plum Park?）

 

江戸時代に「梅屋敷銀世界」として西新宿3丁目にあった梅がこの芝丸山古墳のふもとに移されたものです。

白だけでなくピンクや赤っぽい色のものまであります。本当は2月19、20日に梅まつりをやる予定だったのが中止されました。私が行ったのは日は2月11日でしたが、まだ梅の開花はまばらで、ちょうどその梅まつりの予定だった日が見ごろなのではないでしょうか？

そうはいっても、綺麗に咲いている梅もあり、少し梅の香りもする中、花の蜜を吸うメジロにも遭遇しました。春ですね(^^♪

Ume, which was located in Nishi-Shinjuku 3-chome as "Umeyashiki Ginsekai" in the Edo period, was moved to the foot of this Shiba Maruyama Kofun.

Not only white but also pink and reddish colors are available. Actually, the plan to hold the Plum Festival on February 19th and 20th was canceled. I went there on February 11th, but the plum blossoms are still sparse, and the day when the plum festival was scheduled is in full bloom, isn't it? 

Even so, some plums are in full bloom, and while the scent of plums is a little, I also encountered a Japanese white-eye that sucks nectar. It's spring (^^ ♪

芝丸山古墳は都内最大級の前方後円墳です。上まで登って素晴らしい景色を見ることができます。

周りには徳川家康公の御神像がある芝東照宮や梅公園だけでなく、増上寺、芝大神宮、東京タワーのような興味深いスポットがたくさんある場所です。1日ゆっくりと散策しても楽しめそうですね。

The Shiba Maruyama Kofun is one of the largest keyhole-shaped tumuli in Tokyo. You can climb to the top for a wonderful view.

In addition to Shiba Toshogu and Plum Park, where the statue of Ieyasu Tokugawa is located, there are many interesting spots such as Zojoji Temple, Shiba Daijingu, and Tokyo Tower. It seems that you can enjoy it even if you take a leisurely walk for a day.
